When I used to sell gold

My professional career is already over as I am slowly approaching the middle sixties. As you probably know, I used to be an actress and a businesswoman. The beginnings of my job experiences could suggest something quite different though. Not everyone knows that I have no education connected with the world of showbusiness. I graduated an ordinary high school in London with a profile that could help me at best find my place in the world of trading rather than showbusiness. What is more, I even got engaged in some trading activities in my middle twenties. My uncle was a jeweler and he had his own store near the flat I was renting. Some day he proposed me to work there and sell gold to his customers. At first, my tasks were just limited to helping him and observing how he can sell gold and have good contact with the clients. My main objective was to learn to sell gold as good as he and continue his business after his departure abroad. The life decided another way though... Our ways did not cross later on and after leaving my home town in August the only time I saw my uncle was t Christmas the same year. Later, I never managed to get in touch with him again. Sometimes I wonder if his cash for gold business is still prospering out there. Maybe one day I will visit this place and see what has changed. Maybe as a symbol someone will let me conduct my last cash for gold trade?
